Growing up, Nathalie had a front-row seat to the world of healthcare. She comes from a long line of nurses and watched as her mother got ready every day before heading out to care for others. This family inspiration and her own nurturing spirit are why she also pursues a career in nursing. However, once Nathalie entered the field, she quickly realized she experienced one particular struggle the same as generations before her; the uniforms.
While they were different, she and her mother both faced scrubs that were unflattering and restrictive. Even though the options available were more colorful and practical than the white skirts her mother had, Nathalie knew the scrubs on the market today weren’t quite right either. She began coming up with ideas to give healthcare workers scrubs that were more fitted and attractive. This was her way of giving nurses everywhere the chance to feel more polished and put together on the job, while still being mobile. This mission to provide versatile pieces that boost confidence is how Code Blue Scrubs was born.
As a nursing student at Georgia State University, Nathalie is able to fulfill her desire to help those in need. And, as a creative individual, she uses Code Blue Scrubs to share her wide range of talents to help her fellow nurses. Nathalie’s hope is that by delivering one-of-a-kind scrubs that feel good and look great, she can make their lives a little easier and more enjoyable as they do this life-changing work. Her passion to make a difference and unique ability to think outside the box are what makes Nathalie such a dynamic leader of Code Blue Scrubs, and also why this thriving business continues to grow each day.
